The beginning of the New Year in the cinema world promises to provide thrills and spills. It is worth considering the movies that are in production and are expected to be released within the course of the year. Fifteen of the most waited for movies are found below

1. Sucker Punch

Starring: Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens and Abbie Cornish

Anticipated Release Date: March 25, 2011

Genre: Action Fantasy Thriller

Story line: The story revolves around a young girl who has been placed in a correction facility by her wicked step father. She is left with only one alternative of escaping and thus hatches a plan to do so.

Expectations: Good looking teenage students with revealing clothes, guns and weapons and Snyder’s creative presentation. It promises to be a wonderful movie. Its layout is set in a cool and serene environment.

Its negative side: the movie could have a few boring scenes.

2. Sherlock Holmes 2

Directed by: Guy Ritchie

Written by: Kieran and Michele Mulroney

Starring: Robert Downey Jar, Jude Law, Naomi Apace and Stephen Fry

Expected premiere Date: December 16, 2011

Genre: Action Mystery

Story line: The story revolves a round Sherlock Holmes and his aide Dr Watson and their mission to outfox and destroy their greatest nemesis who is Professor Moriarty.

The expectations:
Sherlock homes movies are known to capture the bad guy attitude. Part one of Sherlock homes was captivating and this is all the reason one should endeavor to watch part two.
However, the movie may have its shortcomings due to the fact that the script writers that wrote part one are not the ones doing the second edition. New writers at times do not deliver to the standards of the original writers.
